Katie Harbour makes what she calls dark, witchy R&B that you can feel in your gut. Combining jazzy chords and synths under ethereal vocals stylized with distortion and bent pitch, Katie's music blurs the line between intimacy and confrontation.

R&B music found Katie in her hometown of Hamilton, Ontario in the early 2010s, when Toronto's homegrown sound — pioneered by artists like The Weeknd, PARTYNEXTDOOR, and Jessie Reyez — surfaced online and reshaped how she approached her own songwriting.

Her singles "hold me down" and "baby" earned coverage from EARMILK, among others, and led to her first Breaking Sound performance at The Baby G in Toronto in 2022. Her second Breaking Sound show comes almost four years later, on September 8, 2026 — her first show since relocating to Brooklyn.

She's now building her presence in the city with a debut single set for release in fall 2026. Her writing has grown more honest and vulnerable over the years, and on these upcoming releases she's experimenting with production more than ever.
